Dorothy Mendes Sarmento Kubo age 93, of Kailua, Oahu and Hilo, Hawaii, passed away on September 10, 2019. Dorothy was preceded in death by husbands Eddie Sarmento and Kame (Kichi) Kubo. She is survived by daughters, Joyce Rosa (Charles) and Pat Sarmento; son Harold Kubo; grandsons, Paul and Randy Santos; sisters, Mary Cecelia Clark and Vivian Mendes; brothers, Richard and Eddie Mendes (Della); sisters-in-law, Dee Sarmento, Beverly and Wilja Mendes and numerous nieces and nephews. Services at Hawaiian Memorial Park, 45-425 Kamehameha Hwy., at 9:00 a.m. on October 17, 2019.
