89, of Nanakuli, passed away September 24, 2019. He was born in Keanae, Maui, and attended Lahainaluna High School. He was employed as a machinist at both Honolulu Iron Works and Oahu Sugar Mill. He was serving in Vietnam when he was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army and the Army National Guard of Hawaii. He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Norma; two sisters, Alice (Alvin) Leval and Leinaala Botelho; daughter Norma (Richard) Ishikawa; sons Sheldon (Dawn) Apio-Manoa and William III, Gordon (Judy), Brian Sr (Valerie), and Kaipo (Kanani) Manoa; ten grandchildren, eleven great-grand- children, and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, October 19, 2019 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 2074 Lauwiliwili Street, Kapolei. Services will follow at 11:00 a.m. Burial at Schofield Barracks Cemetery will take place 9:00 a.m. Tuesday October 22, 2019
