Marilyn Miyasato Choy
76, of Kalama Valley, Hawaii, passed away Sunday, September 29, 2019, at the Kuakini Medical Center from acute Renal Failure complicated by the effects of acute pneumonia. She was born in Hilo, Hawaii to Robert Shigeo and Tsuyako Miyasato. She was a graduate of Roosevelt High School, Class of 1961. She was a retired office manager for Santangelo Realty and and former manager of Kaimuki Shopping Center. Marilyn is survived by her husband of 44 years, Calvin; son, Justin Kawika; brother, Wayne Miyasato and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her loving and caring devotion to her husband and son, she was particularly fond of cooking for friends and family. Marilyn's artistic nature found expression in her passion for crafting and photography. She particularly enjoyed travelling and cruising with dear friends.
