Of Honolulu, passed away surrounded by her family at Kaiser Hospital at age 92 on September 29, 2019. She was born November 20, 1926 in Manila, Republic of The Philippines and was one of nine children. Her father was Quirino Galicia and mother Paulina Menson. Becky is survived by her four adult offspring: Julie Morgan (Daniel) of Spokane, WA., Frank Hambaro Jr. (Toni) of Mountain View, HI, Cynthia Soon (Richard Jr.) of Honolulu, HI, William G. Hambaro of Makaha, HI and her sister Annette Galicia Ikehara (James) of Hilo, HI. She has numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Becky came to Hawaii in 1946 having married Frank E. Hambaro, a Decorated U.S. Army Combat Veteran of WWII and the Korean War. They were married for over 62 years until his passing in 2007. Mom loved to sing, dance, and read her Bible daily. She was known for having the kindest and happiest heart. All are welcomed to attend a service for Rebecca Hambaro at Mililani Memorial Park and Mortuary, Makai Chapel on Friday, November 1 at 6:15 p.m. Private viewing for immediate family from 4:30-5:15, Viewing for family and friends continue from 5:15-6:15. Private graveside service for the family will occur on the following day at Mililani Memorial, 10:00 a.m.
