Geri Shinako Shindo, 84, of Hilo died on Sept. 29 at the Queen's Medical Center on Oahu. Born in Hilo, she was a retired secretary at Hilo Mechanical, Inc. and a member of the Honpa Hongwanji Hilo Betsuin.
