Alice Ann Fink
Alice Ann FinkAlice Fink passed peacefully at home in the presence of her entire family on October 16. Born in New York, Alice graduated from Skidmore College and soon thereafter met and married the love of her life, Arthur Fink (1919-2007). The Finks lived in New York, New Jersey, and Illinois before relocating to Oahu in 1975. Alice was very active in many community organizations including Meals on Wheels, Family Promise, Reading is Fundamental (RIF), American Association of University Women, the Hawaii Theater for youth and the Kailua Library, where a lovely lanai is named after her beloved mother, Emily Newman. She as an avid tennis player until the age of 83. Alice (aka "Leelee") engaged in life with extraordinary interest and zeal. Alice is survived by her three children, Susan, John (Shari), and Margaret (Jeff) along with eight incredible grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, all of whom were present for one final celebration of Leelee at her Kailua home before she passed on October 16. in lieu of flowers or a ceremony, the family request that any donations be made on Alice's behalf to the Friends of Kailua Library. Alice loved her family and friends. She believed that her greatest legacy was her devoted family. This is how she would liked to be rememberd. Arrangements Provided By: Oahu Mortuary
