JOHN GABRIEL VIERRA of Honolulu, passed away on September 28, 2019 at age 91. Survived by his wife of 57 years, Tachie; daughter Emi (Stephen) Arnold; son John A. (Janice) Vierra; grandchildren: Jennifer Inouye, Christopher Higa, Richard Higa, Monica Arnold and Aimee Vierra; great grandchildren: Jordyn and Rylie Inouye; brothers: Albert (Audrey) and Alvin; sister Josephine Satterfield. Brothers Donald and Stephen preceded him in death. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at Borthwick Mortuary, Mauka Chapel. Visitation: 9:30 a.m.; Service: 10:30 a.m. Inurnment: 10:30 a.m. on November 5, 2019 at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific at Punchbowl.
