Gladys Ayako Morita
92, of Honolulu, passed away on October 5, 2019. The date was almost on the exact day of Dad's passing four years ago. Born in Honolulu and raised in the McCully area, she was a retired secretary for the U.S. Government, Department of Defense (Army). A graduate of McKinley High School, she went on to business school and started her career with the federal government. She was a shy person, but a very supportive and loving mom to her family. After retirement she took many trips with Dad, especially to Japan, and was always there for her grandboys. Preceded in death by husband, Jitsuo "Jay" Morita, parents, Albert & Hazel Kyuka and sister, Marie Nomura, she is survived by her daughters, Gaylene Kikuchi and Lori (Patrick Komo) Morita; grandsons, Justen Kikuchi and Landen Yasuda.
