HAROLD CHARLES WEIDKNECHT
HAROLD CHARLES WEIDKNECHT91, born in Long Beach, CA in Sept. '28; passed quietly at home on Oct. 12 in Henderson, CO. Charlie moved to Hawaii in '33 with his family and witnessed the attack on Pearl Harbor from his St. Louis Heights home. Graduated from Roosevelt HS and joined the Army when his draft card arrived for the Korean War (3 Bronze Stars). His career included Pan Am, Grubb & Ellis, and Charles Co. Charlie was a 32 Scottish Rite Mason, an Aloha Shriner, and Elks Club of Kailua member. He is survived by his wife, Deana Monsef. The mother of his children, Elaine; daughter, Dorothy Babyack (Bob); son, Chuck (Tammy); grandson, Edmund; and sister, Midgi Brooks.
