Frances Dieudonne, 95, longtime resident of Manoa, passed away on 10/17/19. Trained as a nurse, she arrived from California in 1947 to work in Hilo, Honolulu and Waimea, Kauai. An avid traveler, she became a journalist and author focused on Oceania. She was a member of the Pan Pacific and S.E. Asia Women's Assoc., Honolulu Adventurer's Club, East-West Center, Oahu Badminton Players groups and Waialua Benedictine Monastery. She is survived by her 3 children and 4 grandchildren.
