93, died on October 29, 2019 in Waimea, Kauai. Born December 25, 1925 to Dewey K. Allen and Katherine Wailua Hanapi Allen of Honolulu. Elaine was an administrative assistant and was still active in her retirement as a volunteer for several causes. Awarded the AARP Andrus Award for Community Service, Elaine volunteered with AARP, the Democratic Party, and the Metropolitan Transit System. She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Snibley Leibbrandt and three children: Jeanette Kalawaia, David Kalawaia, and Rexford Leibbrandt. She is survived by two sons, Michael Leibbrandt of Kekaha, Hawaii, and Donald Leibbrandt, Jr., of Venice, Florida.; daughter, Anna Leimomi Kuroda Rodriguez of Honolulu, Hawaii; 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. A private gathering for immediate family will be held at a later date.
