Shelley Saeko Oshiro-Taong
Age 57, passed away peacefully on November 6, 2019. She was born in Hilo and moved to Honolulu in 1965. After graduating from McKinely High School in 1980, she worked in the hotel industry for over 30 years. She had a huge heart and was extremely generous with everyone around her. People who met her knew how special she was. She fought valiantly before succumbing to Pancreatic Cancer. She is survived by husband Armondo Taong, daughter Alyssa (Miki) Kekoa-Oshiro, mother Jane Oshiro, sister Shannon (Randy) Tolentino, brother Carey (Bobbi) Oshiro. She was loved by many friends and was a beautiful hula dancer for over 25 years. Visitation on Thursday, November 21, 2019 at 9:30 am, service at 10:00 am at Diamond Head Memorial Park.
