91, of Honolulu, passed away on October 7, 2019. Born in Lahaina, Maui, he was a retired Master Sergeant for the U.S. Army and retired Director of Human Development and Personnel Training for the City and County of Honolulu. Preceded in death by his wife, Polly (Sorida) Ah Cook, he is survived by his son, Paul (Robin) Ah Cook; daughters, Debra (Clifford) Miyake and Lori (Douglas) Palmer; four grandchildren and sister, Enid "Puanani" "Cookie" Isaacs. Visitation from 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 22, 2019, at Hosoi Garden Mortuary; service at 11:00 a.m. Committal service and inurnment to follow at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific. in lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Hawaii-Aloha Chapter Headquarters, Oahu, 1130 N.
