8/19/1938 - 10/30/19 Nancy Lou McCord was born August 19, 1938 in Kansas City, Kansas to Dale and Lucille Wear. She graduated from Wyandotte High School in 1956. She went on to earn her registered nursing degree at St Mary's College. She married Warren "Gary" McCord in February 1961. They had five children Betsy (Pyner), Suzie (Gole), Warren, "Gary" McCord, Jr, Jennifer McCord, and Scott Michael McCord. They had six grandchildren, Laurie Pyner, Gary Pyner, Sabrina McCord, Matthew McCord, Joshua Gole and Jack McCord. Nancy and Gary spent their early married life living in Kansas City, Missouri. In 1978, Gary's job took the family to Kailua, Hawaii where they lived for the next 40 years before moving to Round Rock, Texas in 2018. Nancy was such a fun loving and creative woman with a heart of gold. She loved spending time with her family, dogs, creating amusing cartoon drawings and caricatures, and could make the best pot of soup around! She was laid to rest at Our Lady of the Rosary Cemetery & Prayer Gardens in Georgetown, Texas.
