"Aunty Fatty" 88, of Honolulu, Hawaii, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2019. Venus is survived by her children: Dwayna, Kiki, Gay, Henry and Babette; Grand, great grand and great great grandchildren and her brother, Wally Blaisdell. Mom attended Lincoln Elementary, Punahou, old Maui High and graduated from Roosevelt High School. She worked for Hawaiian Tel, Royal Hawaiian Hotel and The Sheraton Waikiki Hotel where she retired after 44 years. Mom was fun-loving, yet had a mischievous side. She was always smiling, enjoyed singing, having pupu and a "few" with family and friends, and watching sports, especially her grandchildren. Mom is at peace now, so remember her smile, humor and great hugs. So no be sad or as Mom would say, "2 slaps". Services were private.
