FAMILY PLACED OBITUARY

RANDALL S. FUKINO
RANDALL S. FUKINO63, of Honolulu, died on October 29, 2019. Survived by his partner Marc K. Ioane of 23 years; brothers, Dr. Wayne Fukino, Rockwell Fukino; sisters, Dr. Chiyome Fukino Cutler, Leinani Springer, Reiko Fukino, Leimamo Nitta, and many nieces and nephews. He was a member of the Kamehameha Schools Class of 1974 and the recipient of the 1st Louise Aoe McGregor Award in 1972. It recognizes the student director who has made the most significant contribution to the class in organizational ability, leadership, assistance to others, and persistence. He attended New Mexico Military Institute where he received his Associates Degree. He returned to Hawaii and entertained many people at the Polynesian Cultural Center. His career took him from Honolulu Cell Company, to Honfed and then the Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach. His love of airplanes took him to Maui to work for Aloha Airlines Cargo and eventually back to Honolulu as a customer service agent. After the closing of Aloha Airlines he worked at the City & County of Honolulu, Dept. of Planning and Permitting. Randy touched many lives. He loved and was loved by everyone. His infectious smile and hearty laugh was contagious. He was blessed with a beautiful angelic tenor voice. He had a deep love for his family especially the kiddies. He loved his classmates so much that he considered them as his children. Please join us as we celebrate Randy's life on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at the Bishop Memorial Chapel on the Kamehameha Schools Kapalama Campus. Visitation will be from 4-6pm with Services at 6pm. Aloha Attire and the family requests no flowers please.
