Age 80, passed away surrounded by loved ones on Tuesday, November 12, 2019. Thelma was born in Cando, North Dakota on January 21, 1939 to Carl and Hilma Haugen but raised by her hanai parents, Alvin & Irene Nehring. Thelma is survived by her brother, Norris Haugen of Las Vegas, Nevada & sister, Marion Janowski (Ben) of Minnesota. Thelma is also survived by her five children, James (Lia), Brian (Dayna), Aaron, Brenda (Kennedy), and Kekau, 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Services will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Makakilo Stake Center located at 92-900 Makakilo Drive, Kapolei, HI 96707. Visitation: 10:00 a.m., Service: 11:30 a.m. with burial at 2:00 p.m. at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park. Arrangements Provided By: Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary
