94, of Honolulu, a retired City & County senior account clerk with the Department of Auditoriums, died peacefully in her home on Sept. 13, 2019. She was born to Toranoshin and Masayo Takehara in Honolulu and graduated from McKinley High School Class of 1942. Predeceased by husband of over 62 years, Charles Kunio Tomoeda, in 2015. She is survived by daughters Charlene (Stephen) Lung, Cheryl Tomoeda, and Joy (Gene) Hughes; five grandchildren, three great-grand- children and her extended family who will miss her love, kindness and keen sense of humor.
