92, passed away December 15, 2019 at Queens Medical Center, with family nearby. Josephine is predeceased by her husband Reymondo A Erice Sr, and is survived by her brother Pedro Talisayan; and her children Marvin, Florinda (Martin Rapal), Rey (Jo Burkett), Milton, John (Deborah Bird), Monica, Franklin (Tracy Mathias); 18 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Growing up mostly in the Waianae area, she was a self proclaimed tom-boy and recalls that day when the planes flew over kole kole pass while playing baseball with other neighborhood kids. The epitome of a great mom, she was compassionate and dedicated to her family. Always a hard worker, she enjoyed meeting and working with so many good friends throughout the years. Even in later years, she had a quick mind and enjoyed word puzzles, Jeopardy and especially Wheel of Fortune. However, her greatest joy came when family visited, providing her with little moments of happiness and endless joy. Memorial service will be held Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at Borthwick Memorial Mortuary. Private family visitation 9:00, visitation 9:30, service 10:00, followed by fellowship at 11:30 AM and burial at Punchbowl 2:00 pm.
