Richard Hisao Nakashima, 97, of Kailua, passed away on December 18, 2019. He was born in Hilo, Hawaii. Retired from Hawaiian Equipment Co. and All Hawaiian Travel. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Elizabeth Almeida; Daughter, Wendy Ota; Grandson, Noah Ota; Godson, Rodney Williams. Brother, Tadashi (Ruth) Nakashima; Sisters, Lillian Miki and Hatsue (Charles) Kamimura. Brother-in-Law, William (Connie) Almeida. Visitation 8:30am at Oahu Cemetery Chapel on Monday, January 6, 2020.
