Hazel Lee
Hazel LeeAge 98, of Honolulu, Hawaii, passed away peacefully Saturday evening, December 14, 2019, at her residence. She was born on January 5, 1921, in Honolulu, daughter of the late Frank and Lily (Kekauoha) Santos. Hazel was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Thomas H. Lee, and siblings' sisters Laura Morreira, Marie Kaleikini, and brother Louis "Koko" Santos. She was a retired supervisor in the Senior Dining Hall at the Punahou Cafeteria and was a devoted life-long Catholic who enjoyed attending services at Star the Sea Church. She was a member of the Third Order of Mary. Hazel was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as Grandma and Aunty. Hazel was a loyal and devoted football fan, exclusively following the careers of her sons. She had a vivacious personality and always made people around her smile. Hazel is survived by her three sons and their wives: Tommy (Haunani), Ron, and Cal (Val) Lee; five grandchildren: Momi (Lance) Hall; Pohai, Jon, Ipo (Natalie) and Tiffany Lee; and five great grandchildren: Ikaika Hall, Jaimy, Kailani, Georgia and Josiah Lee Family. Visitation Tuesday, January 14, 2020 from 9:30-10:00am, and public viewing from 10:00am-11:00am at the Diamond Head Mortuary Chapel. Funeral Service immediately following at 11:00am.
