Roy Tomoyoshi Nakamura, 90, of Honolulu, passed away on January 4, 2020, at Arcadia Retirement Community. Born in Kealakekua, Kona, Hawaii, he was a veteran of the Korean War and the 100th Battalion Reserve Unit. He retired as AVP at First Hawaiian Bank, former instructor for the Hawaii Chapter, American Institute of Banking and Charter member of the East Manoa Lions Club. He is survived by son, Miles (Lynne) Nakamura; daughter, Lynne Aki-Steele; 5 grandchildren and sister, Florence Nakamura and brother, Richard (Ethel) Nakamura. Visitation from 5:00p.m. on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at Hosoi Garden Mortuary; memorial service 6:00p.m. No flowers. Casual attire.
