FAMILY PLACED OBITUARY

Steven S. Oshiro
78, from Kalihi, passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at Queen's Medical Center - West. He was born in Waimea, Kaua'i. He spent many years working as a District Manager for the Honolulu Advertiser and later as a Laborer for Alii Drywall where he retired. He was a member of the Laborers' International Union of North America. Throughout his life, he was an avid fisherman. He is survived by his daughters, Serena (Patrick) Bartolome and Stevette (Jimmy John) Ka'aihue; sons, Steven Scott and Shannon (Brandi); 7 grandchildren: Shental, Bobbi Jean, Halona, Micah, Cameron, Chevy, and Kase; and 11 great grandchildren Elijah "Po'omai," Kelsey-Love, Kaya-Love, Kaisha-Love, Kailee-Love, Kaira-Love, Sarah "Kinohi," Michaela "Kanoena," George "Kalei," Steven "Nukanoa," and Haven. He is also survived by his brothers, Richard, Wayne, and Ronald; and sisters, Susan Kanemoto and Kathleen Mew and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank his caregivers, Mr. and Mrs. Ador Agluba and family, for all the care and compassion given to our father. Visitation: 10:00 a.m.; Services: 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at Borthwick Mortuary, Maunakea Chapel. Private scattering of ashes will be held at a later date.
