DR. DARRELL EUGENE WOLFLEY
Darrell passed quietly in his sleep on January 6, 2020 at his home in Shoal Creek, Alabama. He was born on January 8, 1943 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Delbert C. and Leah B. Wolfley. Preceded in death by his Father, Mother and Brother, Dennis, Darrell is survived by his wife Jann; his sons Jim (Sara) and Steven Wolfley; two grandsons; brothers, Leon (Barbara) and Joel Wolfley; sisters, Jolene (Arthur) Miyazaki and Vicki (Gary) Margetts. Darrell completed his Ophthalmology Residency at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. Darrell lived in Birmingham, AL., practicing as an Oculoplastic Surgeon at Vision America, where he remained until his passing. Darrell's absence will be felt by countless friends, family members and colleagues. A Memorial Service will be held in Darrell's honor on Sunday January 26, 2020 at First Baptist Church of Birmingham. In lieu of flowers, the family would like to suggest a contribution to The Wounded Warrior Project in Darrell's name.
