BEATRICE SAU PUNG TOM
92, of Honolulu, passed away on January 7, 2020 at St. Francis Hospice. She was born in Honolulu and raised in Kula, Maui. She graduated from Baldwin High School in 1945. Retired from civil services with the federal government including the U.S. Army for 20 years and the U.S. Coast Guard for 16 years as a travel voucher examiner. She is preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Aloysius Y.C. Tom; brothers, Clarence Chock, Ernest Chock, Wallace Chock, Lawrence Chock and Francis Chock; and sister, Mary Ann Mau. She is survived by children, Randall Tom, Beverly Tom, Carolyn Katayama (Stephen) and Patrick Tom (Margie); grandchildren, Krystina Katayama-Baird (Jacob), Erin Katayama and Brett Katayama; and great grandchild. Her celebration of life will be held at Waialae Country Club on Sunday, February 16, 2020 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Aloha Attire. Arrangements Provided By: Nuuanu Memorial Park & Mortuary LLC
