David Noon Fai Lee
71, of Kahuku, passed away at home on January 7th, 2020. David was born in Guangdung, China on July 28, 1948 and lived in Hawaii since 1966. David is survived by Grace, his wife of 44 years; six children: Jared, Rachel, Joshua, Simon, Solomon and Tiffany; son-in-law Mark; daughters-in-law: Lisa, Jenny and Tanier; 9 grandchildren: Carter, Miya, Mckenna, Mckayla, Kaden, Brooks, Lily, Parker and Linkin. David was dedicated to his family, his faith and his community. He retired from BYU-Hawaii in 2011 following 38 years of service. David held numerous callings within the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, previously served as Bishop of the Kahuku 1st Ward and was a dedicated patron and worker at the Laie Temple. David will be remembered for his kind and generous nature, unique sense of humor, love of cooking, lifetime of service and superhuman ability to put his grandchildren to sleep. Funeral services will be held on January 31, 2020 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Kahuku Chapel. Viewing: 9:00 a.m.; Funeral Service: 10:00 a.m. Burial: 1:00 p.m. at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery.
