42, of Aiea, a Chef at La Mer, passed away January 7, 2020 at the Queen's Medical Center. He was born in Honolulu. Survived by wife, Suzuyo Okano; son, James Kai "JJ" Okano; parents, Dennis and Karyn Okano; brothers, Mark (Fran) and Ryan (Kim) Okano and niece Naia, nephews Jordan and Jayden. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. Thursday, January 30, 2020 at First Assembly of God Church, 3400 Moanalua Road, Red Hill.
