KAUILA REYES
MAHALO from the family of KAUILA REYES She is now resting peacefully with her grandfather, Andrew Po'aha, at Our Lady of Seven Sorrows Church in Kalua'aha, Molokai. (Andrew Po'aha helped Father Damien build that church and other churches on Molokai, especially in Kalaupapa.) The outpouring of aloha for our matriarch was so overwhelming. Family and friends visited her before she passed bearing gifts of food, drinks and flowers but most of all, their prayers. Prior to and after her two services at St. George Catholic Church & St. Damien Catholic Church, family and friends continued to donate food and drinks and most valued, their time. There was so much behind the scenes help from family and friends. We cannot express enough how much we appreciated your help. We are so grateful for the family and friends who came to her services and for those who conveyed their aloha through family and friends, by mail from across Hawaii and the mainland, and even donations and prayers to churches in her name. If we missed acknowledging you personally, please know that we are aware of your gift, contribution, and aloha for Aunty Kauila. Our family was blessed to have her in our lives and the aloha given to us by so many shows how much she meant to them, as indicated by the touching comments written in the sympathy cards. Once again, mahalo piha from the Kauila Reyes Ohana. As Aunty would say, "Aloha wau ia 'oe".
Our deepest condolences to the family and friends of the deceased
