Lisa Mariko Okuma Coffey
Lisa Mariko Okuma Coffey, 40, passed away unexpectedly on September 26, 2019, in Brookline, New Hampshire. She was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on September 6, 1979, daughter of Ann (Warashina) Yakuma and the late David Okuma. Survived by husband, John Coffey; son, Jack Coffey; daughter Mariko Coffey; brother, Reid Yakuma; sister Kristi Yakuma; loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. Lisa's greatest pride were her loving children and husband. She poured her heart and soul into caring for her family and treasured each day with them. In everything she did, Lisa manifested love and acceptance. She dedicated her life to provide early intervention services for children on the autism spectrum with passion, creativity, and empathy. Her capacity to care for and meet the needs of those around her exceeded all expectations. A celebration of Lisa's life will be held at Nuuanu Memorial Park on Tuesday, February 18, 2020.
