Marie Kekuewa, 93, passed away on January 27, 2020. She was born in Kohala, Hawaii on July 26, 1926. She is survived by her son Russell (Rusty) Kekuewa. Her surviving siblings are Sachiko Waialeale, Akiko Nishiyama, Tsukiko Sakai and Mae Miyoshi. Marie worked for over 30 years with the Dillingham Corporation before retiring to care for her late husband, Leighton. She has resided at her home in Kaneohe for 55 years before entering a care facility three years ago. After cremation her urn will be buried in the Kekuewa Family plot at Valley of the Temples, Ocean View Terrace Ekolu Garden Hedge Estate. Funeral services will be held on February 12, 2020 at Valley of the Temples Makai Chapel at 5pm.
