82, of Honolulu, passed peacefully surrounded by family on December 30, 2019 at the St. Francis Hospice in Nu'uanu. He was born in Hilo, Hawaii to the Rev. Paul S. and Janet Osumi. Paul was a graduate of Mid-Pacific Institute and obtained his architectural degree at the University of Minnesota. He was president of Osumi Nakai Maekawa Architects. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Diane, and daughters Lisa (Jason) Kuroiwa, Carrie (Keith) Koga and Holly (Jason) Pappalexis. He was a proud grandfather of Connor Lee, Bennett and Ava Pappalexis, Kyle and Kristyn Koga. He is also survived by brother, Norman Osumi. Celebration of Life Services will be held on Sunday, February 16, 2020 at Mililani Memorial Park, Mauka Chapel. Visitation from 5:00pm, Service at 6:00pm. No flowers, please.
