87, of Maili, passed away January 18th, 2020 at home with her family by her side. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister aunt and mentor. Born Kalihi to Clarence and Mabel Markham (predeceased). She was one of five siblings and grew up in Damon Tract. After graduating from Sacred Hearts Academy Class of '50, she married Valentine Andrew (predeceased) and raised two children. She had a creative passion for arts and crafts, was an excellent seamstress and traveled the word three times but always came home to her Hawaii. Loved to read and a devoted beer drinker with many happy hours filled with music and laugher. She is survived and missed dearly by her family, daughter Iris Andrews and son Allan Andrews (Shirley); grand- daughter Cherise Boyce (Daniel), grandson Anthony Andrews (Whitney); two great-grandchildren; sister, Winifred Harris and brother Marvin Markham. Visitation: 9am; Service at 10am on Tuesday, February 18th at Hawaiian Memorial Park. Come join us for lunch and celebrate Valerie's life and the memories of the way it used to be. No flowers, just laughter.
