Edith went to be with the Lord on January 30th, peacefully from her home, at the age of 86. She was born in Hong Kong on Jan. 8th. Her father was Leung Bing Sing and her mother was Tong Suke Fong. She is survived by her daughter, Wendy and their loyal German Shepherd, Bella. She now joins her husband of 64 years, Henry DC Lum and is celebrating in heaven with her new life with Jesus! Edith was a gentle, loving and generous soul. She was a faithful member of Makiki Christian Church for 35 years. She would help to prepare the luncheons on Thursdays for the volunteers and was an active member of the church with her family. Edith worked at Outrigger Canoe Club as a cook, with her specialty making soups from scratch, for 20 years. After retiring, Edith loved to travel, garden, play Mah Jongg and volunteer to help the church. She will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts. Service will be at Makiki Christian Church on Friday, February 28th at 6:00 p.m. Visitation at 5:00. Aloha attire and no flowers. Private burial. Arrangements Provided By: Hosoi Garden Mortuary
