FAMILY PLACED OBITUARY

Elizabeth Anne Andrews
Elizabeth Anne AndrewsMarch 31, 1921 ~ February 13, 2020 "Things have worked out so beautifully" were some of the last words shared by Elizabeth, "Betty" before she died peacefully at home. In her 98 years, beauty and happiness came abundantly to Betty as she inspired many with love, kindness and grace. As a Harvard graduate, she had a deep intellect and curiosity; embracing the opera and art, she served as a docent for years at the Honolulu Museum of Art. During WWII, she enlisted in the U.S. Women's Army Corps becoming a lieutenant after using her G.I. bill to pay for college. Born in Hyde Park, Massachusetts to an Italian father, Patrick Russo and Irish mother, Agnes Hernon, she was raised in a large family that nurtured her interest in tennis as a result of the courts her father built in their back yard. She would extend this passion, along with many others, to her husband and four children. Betty is survived by her three sons, one daughter, nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Donations: In memory of Elizabeth Andrews, Honolulu Museum of Art, Donor Services, 900 S. Beretania St., Honolulu, H.I. 96814.

Our deepest condolences to the family and friends of the deceased
