Nancy Ngit Ngo Wong Lau, 95, of Honolulu, passed away on January 18, 2020 in Honolulu, Hawaii. Born February 18, 1924 to Koon Chuck and Mew Ngan Au Wong, she graduated from Sacred Heart's Academy in 1943, and Cannons School of Business in 1948. After 37 years, she retired from the City and County of Honolulu, department of Civil Service. She also attended Mun Lun Chinese School and was a member of Wong Kong Har Tong Women's Auxiliary and United Church of Christ. She was also a former volunteer for the American Heart Association. On Sept 12, 1954 she married George Kwock Pang Lau whom she is preceded in death. She is survived by her 3 children, Beverly (Rod) Chai, Gordon (Karen), Steven (Carol), 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, brother Dr. Herbert Wong, sisters Ethel Ching, Gloria Huemer and many nieces and nephews. Services will be held on Saturday, February 29th at United Church of Christ, 467 N. Judd St. Visitation at 9:30 a.m.; services at 10:30 a.m. Burial at Hawaiian Memorial Park at 1:00 p.m.
