Stanette passed peacefully from this life the morning of January 22, 2020 at the age of 63. Stanette is survived by her daughter Christian Kitamura, sisters Tammy Kimura (Harlan), Starr Quon (Richard Nakamura), Sharon Asao, Jan Bachman and brother Jon Takushi. She was preceded in death by her mother Violet Takushi (James), father Stanley Asao (Rhoda), brother Frank Asao. She was surrounded with love and supported by her daughter Christian and sisters Tammy and Starr during the last days of her life. She was truly a faithful servant of the Lord. She worked for Abilities Unlimited dedicating her life to enrich the lives of adults with disabilities. She lived with aloha (love) and grace every day in every facet of life. There will be a Celebration of Life at Nuuanu Mortuary on Saturday, March 7, 2020. Visitation is from 3:00 pm with service to begin at 4:00 pm.
