EUGENE GINO KON SR. Our Beloved father, brother, uncle and friend, Eugene "Gino" Kon Sr., 83, of Kaneohe, was called to heaven on January 21, 2020. Born in Honolulu on November 1, 1936. Roosevelt 56' alum, served in the US Navy, Bus operator for Grayline Hawaii, and a retiree of the Honolulu Fire Department after serving 27 years. Eugene is survived by wife, Irene T. Kon (predeceased). Sons; Eugene Kon Jr. (Jadelyn), Zachary Kon (Tracie) Daughters; Pamela Kon-Boyle (Peter), Billie Jean Kon-Repollo (Mark), sisters Elizabeth Balocon and Pearl Sumida. Six predeceased brothers, and seven predeceased sisters. He has 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Celebration of life will be on Saturday, February 29, 2020 10am, Hawaiian Memorial Kaneohe.
