91, of Honolulu passed away on February 13, 2020 after a brief illness. She was born in Wailuku, Maui. A loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and aunty she is survived by daughter Louann Kimura (Jay), son Greig Sugiyama (Carol), son Randall Sugiyama (Velina), 7 grand- children, 2 great-grandchilden, sisters Harriett Young and Pauline Hughes and brothers George Kawamoto and Walter Kawamoto and nieces and nephews. Esther volunteered her time with others in knitting and sewing crafts for Pali Momi Hospital newborns. Private services were held and the family requests no monetary gifts.
