Anita Bronwyn Kalikolehua Oba Kaupiko
60, passed into eternal life on February 5th, 2020, surrounded by her husband, sister, brother, cousins and children. Anita was born on April 12, 1959 in Waipahu, Oahu. She was a proud graduate of Punahou High School class of 1977. Anita was self-employed and ran numerous businesses, Milolii Grocery Store, South Kona Hauling and Hawaiian Roll-off Services. Anita is survived by her husband Wilfred Kaupiko of 40 years, her two sons, Kaimi Kaupiko of Milolii, Mahina (Melveen) Kaupiko of Holualoa, and daughter Pi'ilani Kaupiko of Hawaii Kai. Grandson Makana and granddaughters Melina and Moani. Her stepmother Linda Oba, her sisters Dayna (Kealoha) Mora, Dilla (Jeff) Oba, and Brothers Ekolu (Rosa) Whitford, Saichi (Connie) Oba, and Joshua (Jennifer) Oba. Numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. She is now reunited with her brother Shayne, sister Huellyn, father Joseph and Mother Mona. Anita's service is at Kawaiaha'o Church on Sunday, March 8, 2020. Public visitation starts at 12:30 pm. Celebration of Life is from 1:30 - 2:30 pm and lunch to follow. The family encourages you to attend church service at 9 am in which they will share the word. Friends and Family may also call to service at 10:30 am April 4th at Hau'oli Kamana'o Church in Milolii, on the Big Island of Hawaii. Please join the family after for a pa'ina in her memory. In honor of Anita's memory, we started the Anita B.K Kaupiko Memorial fund to help find the cure for cancer.
