He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army and retired as a 1st Sergeant; a proud member of the Korean War Veterans Association, and a retired correctional officer for the State of Hawaii, Public Safety Department, Corrections Division. He is survived by his wife, Katherine and daughter, Erika. Visitation from 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 6, 2020, at Hosoi Garden Mortuary; service of celebration at 11:00 a.m. Committal service with military honors and inurnment will be held at 2:00 p.m. at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific.
