Shigeko Kurashima, 95, of Honolulu, passed away peacefully on October 18, 2019. Born in Makaweli, Kauai. She was a seamstress formerly employed by Sears, then Liberty House before her retirement. She is survived by her sons, Ivan (Frances) Awa, Lynn Kurashima and Kevin (Dawn) Kurashima; daughter, Phyllis Kamada; grand- children, Rae (Kane), Kristen (Keenan), Matthew, Stephanie and Aaron; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters, Nobue Higa and Tokiko Arakaki; and brother, Tsukuru Shiroma.
