73, of Honolulu, passed away on January 12, 2020 surrounded by family. Born in Honolulu, he was a Air Force Veteran, retired FAA employee with 36 years of service and a real estate broker, dba Platinum Properties. After retirement, he volunteered at CrimeStoppers Honolulu for ten years. He is survived by his wife of 52 years Carol; daughters, Terri-Ann (Timothy) Mehlhorn and Wendy (Daniel) Hamada; 4 grandchildren, Bryson Hamada, Marc Mehlhorn, Vance Hamada and Elizabeth Mehlhorn, and brother, Leslie Hayashida.
