THEODORE CHEE CHIN YOUNG Theodore Young passed away on his 95th birthday, February 25, 2020. His gift that day was to be welcomed by his wife, Eva and to be received in his new eternal home. Originally from Fiji, Ted served in the U.S. Army in WWII and was a retired handyman. He was a longtime member and deacon of Olivet Baptist Church, Kaimuki Lions Club and the American Legion. He and his late wife Eva served on the Aloha Council and MAC hosts for the Hawaii Baptist Academy. He is survived by sister Estelle and nephews and nieces. A Celebration of Life will be held on March 12th at Olivet Baptist Church, 1775 South Beretania Street. Visitation: 9:30 a.m.; Service: 10:00 a.m. Burial: 1:00 p.m. at the Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery.
