83, of Honolulu, passed away on February 22, 2020 at Straub Medical Center. He was a Shop 51 shipboard electrical systems tester at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard for over fifty-five years and a US Army Veteran. He is survived by wife Chong Soon Choi, daughter Iris, grand- children Christopher and Sasha, brother Clyde, sisters Jean Hayashi, Gail (Wayne) Miyamoto, Patsy (Gary) Matsuda, and sister-in-law, Roxanne Uyema. He was predeceased by son, Justin Uyema. Visitation: 5:00pm on Wednesday, March 25, 2020 at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Services: 6:00pm.
