On Friday, February 21, 2020, Julia Lucas Ustare passed away peacefully at age 82 surrounded by her family. A retired employee of Wai'alae Country Club, Julia was born in Laoag City, Philippines on Dec. 20, 1937. She married Manuel Ustare in 1964, and together, they raised three sons. Manuel predeceased Julia in 1985. Julia is survived by her sons Joel (Nancy), Samuel (Dynah) and Emmanuel Ustare, and grand- child Megan Ustare. Surviving siblings are Milagrina Lucas Mariano and Andrea Lucas Cabel of Laoag City Philippines, as well as Virgilio Lucas (Edith) and Domingo Lucas (Cora) of Honolulu. Numerous nephews and nieces make up the rest of survivors. Services will be held on March 23, 2020 (Monday) at Valley of the Temples. Visitation 9:30-10:30 A.M. Prayer Service 10:30 A.M. Burial 12:00 noon. Arrangements Provided By: Valley of the Temples.
