Of Hawaii Kai, Hawaii, passed away on April 11, 2020, surrounded by her loving family.Jaye was born in Honolulu on July 1, 1959, and graduated from Kaiser High School in 1977. She then earned her BA in Education at UH Manoa. Jaye spent 30+ years as an educator, and the majority at Kamiloiki Elementary as a kindergarten teacher. She touched many multi- generational lives and will be sorely missed.
Her family will never forget the kindness, love and support from all her extended Ohana, friends far & wide, and the Hawaii Kai Community during her brave fight with cancer.
Jaye is survived by her immediate family, Joel (husband), Travis (Brianne, Peighton, Camryn), Corey (Dana), Maile, Jared, Hatsue (mom), Scott (Tammy/, Everett/Tristen), Fay (Rick, Matt, Sydney).
A Celebration of Life will be planned in the near future.
