This is a man who proudly served his country in the Air Force during the time of the Vietnam era, much to our mother's dismay. But he volunteered, rather than being drafted - quite a noble thing to do. He also spent many years in the City and County of Honolulu Motor Vehicle department where he met and made lifelong friends who will miss him terribly. Private services were held.
