Kibby attended Punahou school until his sophomore year, then transferred home to Kahuku High School where he graduated in 1972. He worked for Aloha Airlines, and moved to Volcano, Hawaii in 1992, setting up a ranching and fence building business in the community he called home for the last 28 years.
Predeceased by his father George and brother Lani, Kibby leaves behind his loving, patient, kind wife Ronna to whom he was married for 30 years. His beautiful and talented daughter Malie will also deeply miss her Dad. He is also survived by his mother Barbara; brother Kimo (Linda); sister Pua (Bill) Ka`ai, nephews Kahaku and Koa; sister-in-law Nilmah Mills, nephews Tad and Grayson, niece Liz and many beloved cousins both here in Hawaii and on the mainland.
A scattering of his ashes at Punalu`u is pending.
