Mary graduated from Maryknoll High school class of 1958. She also completed two years at the University of Hawaii but continued with her professional training throughout her 32 years of service with IBM, Control Data and Ceridian Employer Services in various capacities. The last 15 years she served as District Business Manager until her retirement in 1996. After her retirement, spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren filled her life with joy and happiness.
In September of 1959 she married Logan W.S. Ng (deceased), a rookie policeman at the time, and together they raised and educated three children, (one deceased), and was blessed with five grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Mary loved to travel and enjoyed reading and swimming.
Mary is survived by two sons: Nathan (Dianne) and Darryl (Corrine) Ng, five grandchildren: Malia Lopes (Nelo), Nicholas Ng, Leroy Borling Jr. (Sarah), Christy Borling (Nalua), Misty Borling-Kuailani (Nicole) and nine great-grandchildren: Joseph, Jasity, Keiko, Ellah, Joshua, Makena, Maile, Makai and Alexander. She is also survived by her sister Sally Ishikawa (Gary), brother Edward Teixeira (Sammy), and numerous cousins and friends. She was loved by all and will be missed tremendously.
A private memorial service will be held at Diamond Head Memorial Park.
A public memorial gathering will be held at a later date due to Covid-19.
