Martha Kimiko Bush
Martha Kimiko Bush, 73, passed away May 8, 2020 of lung cancer at Kina 'Ole Estates in Kaneohe. Martha was born in Honolulu and grew up in Ewa, eventually graduating from Farrington High School and attending the University of Hawaii, Manoa in accounting. She was married to Bryson Conrado Bush for 43 years. Bryson was a business entrepreneur, producing live tv shows such as the Jerry Lewis Telethon and in his later years producing and directing Capitol TV, a live production at the State Legislature. Martha was a secretary for the 15th Contracting Squadron at Hickam Air Force Base for 38 years. She loved Hawaiian music, Hawaiian food, and traveling internationally with Bryson and Hatsue, her mom. Special thank you to Dr. Brian Lee, at Kaiser Hospital, Nephrology, who guided Martha during her two and a half years of kidney disease along with her primary care physician Dr. Mii Hawkins. Also to Bristol Hospice and Kina 'Ole Estates. Martha is survived by Lenny, her treasured toy poodle, and brother Allan Suematsu (Carol Sakihara). Private graveside services were held at Oahu Cemetery.
